The Man Who Writes his Destiny: Chris Gradner

We all follow what fate writes for our lives but there are some people who dare to write their own destiny to realize the purpose of their lives and make them different from the rest. Chris Gradner, the successful stockbroker is one of those people who struggled their way to achieve the sunshine and establish his strong statement in the world.

Being raised by a single mother, Gradner knew what it meant to be poor and lack of strong family. In 1982, he had just an income of $1,000 (from his training program), no home to live on and a 20-month son to be raised. For a complete year, he and Chris Jr. slept where they could - cheap hotel rooms in West Oakland, a shelter at a church in the Tenderloin, under his office desk, even, on occasion, the bathroom at the Bay Area Rapid Transit MacArthur station. Slowly he struggled hard to get more for him and his son. In today’s world, Gradner is a known owner of stock broking firm and earning in millions.

His endeavors are filmed in 2006 motion picture called “The Pursuit of Happiness.” Chris has also published his memoir and continued to get popular with each passing day.
