Association of Black Social Workers

The black social worker association basically judge and speak to the people about major social issues which can impact the welfare of the Black community. Black social workers have both national and private association.It is designed to encourage the welfare, survival, and liberation of the Black Community; and to support social change at the national, state, and local level.They play a vital role in providing education and culturally enriching the people.

These associations basically do the following work:

• To look for education of children.
• To stop unnecessary out of home placement of child.
• To reunify the children with parents.
• They place children of African ancestry with relatives or unrelated families of the same face and culture for adoption.
• They have setup an office for student affairs to exemplify the significance and value of developing young professionals.
• Black children are taught, from the beginning highly sophisticated coping techniques to deal with chauvinistic practices perpetrated by individuals and institutions.

Their basic goal was Black people freedom, better social work practice and service delivery. They establish the firm place of black children in black families where they belong physically, psychologically and ethnically in order that they receive the total sense of themselves and to develop a bright future.
